Valerie J. Southern – Transportation Consultant, LLC (VJS-TC) is a limited liability company. It was established in 1998 in Issaquah, Washington. Since that time, the firm has re-located to Fairfax, Virginia where it is currently located.

VJS-TC is expert in the planning and management of transportation systems. These include highway, roadway, transit, rail, freight, ferry, pedestrian and bicycle systems. The firm provides technical support to federal, state, regional, tribal, county and local governments and to larger engineering firms. VJS-TC is expert in national transportation (SAFETEA-LU) funding and policy, prepares the transportation elements of comprehensive plans and conducts special transportation studies.

VJS-TC also specializes in Department of Defense program management and logistics support. This includes recent management of a priority logistics division at the U.S. Navy Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) in Bremerton, Washington.
