Valerie J. Southern – Transportation Consultant, LLC (VJS-TC) is a limited liability company with one part-time and 19 full-time employees. It was established in 1998 and is located in Issaquah, Washington. The firm will expand its services into the Washington, DC area in 2008.

VJS-TC is expert in the planning and management of transportation systems. These include highway, roadway, transit, rail, freight, ferry, pedestrian and bicycle systems. The firm provides technical support to federal, state, regional, tribal, county and local governments and to larger engineering firms. VJS-TC is expert in national transportation (SAFETEA-LU) funding, prepares the transportation elements of comprehensive plans and conducts special transportation studies.

VJS-TC also specializes in Department of Defense program management and logistics support. This includes management of priority logistics services at the U.S. Navy Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) in Bremerton, Washington.
